ICC Cricket

Are you a cricket fan looking for ICC matches online? Depending on what country you live in, it can be hard to find information as to which websites stream the games you are looking for. If you use Kodi to watch TV online, you may also not know which Kodi addons you need to watch cricket or what repos they are in.

If you are having this problem, read below to find out how to watch ICC Cricket online or on Kodi.

What is Kodi?

Kodi is an open-source media player that can be used to watch videos on a device or streaming from the Internet. It allows users to integrate all of their media sources, simplifying the online TV experience. It can also block most ads on streaming-video sites. Kodi can be installed on Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, PC, Mac, or Android or iOS phone. It can also cast videos to a Roku using a mobile device.

Warning: Kodi should only be used for content to which you have the legal right to access. Neither the Kodi Foundation nor Comparitech advocates the use of Kodi for piracy.

Always use a VPN when watching TV online

Whenever you stream video through a web browser or Kodi, you should always use a VPN to protect your privacy and to keep your device secure. If you don’t use a VPN, streaming video sites may block you from viewing certain content based on your geographic location. ISPs may also throttle your Internet speed if they know you are streaming video, while a VPN helps keep this activity secret. In addition, VPNs can help to protect you against man-in-the-middle attacks by hackers.

Not all VPNs are useful to people who watch TV online. While all VPNs will slow your speed somewhat, some are so slow that they cannot handle HD video without buffering. Many do not have servers in enough countries to get through geoblocks consistently. Most do not have apps for TV devices like the Amazon Fire Stick. In addition, many VPNs keep logs of users’ online activity. These logs could compromise users’ privacy if they fell into the wrong hands.

For these reasons, we recommend IPVanish to users who watch TV online. In our testing, IPVanish allowed high-def video streams without buffering. It has servers in 60+ countries, making it an effective tool to get around geoblocks. IPVanish keeps no logs identifying users, and is one of the few VPN services with an app for Amazon Fire Stick and Nvidia Shield.

BEST VPN FOR KODI:IPVanish is our top choice. Has a large uncongested network of servers and achieves good speeds. Strong security and privacy features make IPVanish a favorite for Kodi and Amazon Fire TV Stick users. Try it risk-free with the 7-day money back guarantee.

How to watch ICC Cricket 2018 online

Depending on where you access the Internet and how much you are willing to pay, there are several options for watching ICC Cricket online. Here are some ways to watch from India, Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Hotstar

hotstar.com

The easiest way for most users to watch ICC Cricket is through Hotstar.com. Hotstar is an Indian-based streaming-video service that is known for its excellent coverage of cricket. It is available free of charge and without geoblocks in India and most of Southwest Asia and Europe. It is also available throughout Canada.

If you try to access Hotstar from outside of these areas, the website will produce an error message that says the content is not available in your area. However, this geoblock can easily be circumvented by connecting to a VPN server in India.

There is no way to watch ICC Cricket 2018 on Kodi

We searched for a Kodi addon that would allow users to watch ICC Cricket without a web browser. However, we were unable to find any.

At first, we looked for a Hotstar Kodi addon. While we did find one, we found that it produces “Hotstar error” messages on every video.

We then tried to find a Willow TV Kodi addon that would at least allow U.S. users to watch ICC Cricket games using Kodi. Unfortunately, the Willow TV addon we found would not even install.

While we hope that Kodi addons will be developed in the future that will allow users to watch ICC cricket games, we have to conclude that it isn’t currently possible through legal methods.

For users that have an Android-based TV device, the best option to watch ICC Cricket is to use a compatible web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Dolphin.

We hope you’ve found this guide to watching 2018 ICC Cricket online and on Kodi to be helpful.
