Excited for this year’s NBA draft? The 2023 NBA draft will take place at 20:00 ET / 17:00 PDT on June 22. Once again, this will take place at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York, marking the tenth time in a row this venue has hosted the draft.

That’s because it won’t be broadcast in every country, and some of the channels it airs on aren’t available internationally. How to watch the NBA Draft in the US

ABC will be broadcasting the first round of this year’s NBA Draft but if you’re looking to watch the whole thing, you’ll need to tune in on ESPN. If you already get either of these channels as part of your cable plan, you can just log into the respective website and watch at no added cost.

Don’t have cable? No problem; you can watch ESPN and ABC online in a few different places. All of them are only available in the US or through a VPN. Note that most require a US-based payment method but offer free trials, allowing you to watch the entire NBA Draft for free online and then cancel afterward:

  • ESPN+: The official standalone streaming service of ESPN costs $9.99 USD per month or $99.99 per year. Note that a VPN will likely not work if you’re using an Android or iOS smartphone to watch.
  • Watch ESPN: ESPN’s main website and app where you can watch live streams by logging in with your US cable provider.
