watch March Madness Kodi

This year’s March Madness tournament will officially begin with Selection Sunday on March 15. Over the next three weeks, we’ll see 68 of the best Division I teams get together for some world-class basketball, with the Final Four fixtures taking place on April 4 and April 6. Here’s the best part: you can stream March Madness 2026 via Kodi. Below, I’ll explain how and reveal which Kodi addons to use for live sports.

This guide only recommends official March Madness broadcasters. While you may be able to watch the matches elsewhere, unlicensed sources often have lower-quality video, unreliable performance, and a tendency of being taken offline suddenly. Luckily, there are a few different ways to watch on Kodi using official NCAA sources.

BEST VPN FOR KODI:IPVanish is my top choice. It’s fast, packed with powerful security tools, and able to access a huge range of streaming sites. Supports Amazon Fire Stick and doesn’t have any connection limits. Has a risk-free 30-day money-back guarantee.

Warning: Kodi should only be used for content to which you have the legal right to access. Neither the Kodi Foundation nor Comparitech advocates the use of Kodi for piracy.

How to watch March Madness on Kodi with a VPN

If you’re traveling abroad, you won’t be able to access your regular sports streaming apps. However, it’s easy to regain access with the help of a Virtual Private Network (VPN). Here’s how to stream March Madness from outside of the US:

Here’s how to watch March Madness 2026 on Kodi:

  1. Start by choosing a reputable VPN. I recommend IPVanish for Kodi users but ExpressVPN, NordVPN, and CyberGhost are all strong options as well.
  2. Install the VPN on any device you regularly use for watching TV.
  3. Connect to a server in the United States. This will change your IP address and make it seem like you never left.
  4. Open your preferred streaming platform and try to watch something. It should play without any issues but if not, I’d suggest reaching out to your VPN’s customer support team for more advice.

Finally, make sure you test out your streaming option before the games you want to watch. That way, you can ensure you have access and will give yourself time to find alternatives if your Kodi addons aren’t working.

How to watch March Madness 2026 for free on Kodi

They certainly don’t make streaming March Madness easy (or cheap). Coverage is split across four networks: TBS, TNT, truTV, and CBS and most of these don’t have their own Kodi addons. However, the addons below will allow you to watch these channels without any fuss. Better still, many come with short trial periods so you can stream some of the March Madness tournament for free.

Hulu

How to watch March Madness on Kodi with Hulu

The Hulu addon for Kodi provides access to on-demand and live broadcasts. If you have a Hulu+Live TV subscription, you’ll be able to watch every fixture from the 2026 March Madness tournament. Currently these plans cost $89.99 per month but include a three-day free trial, allowing you to stream the Final Four matches without paying anything.

You’ll find this addon in the SlyGuy repository.

HBO Max

HBO Max is showing every March Madness fixture that airs on TNT, TBS, and truTV. If you don’t feel like paying $90 per month, this is a much cheaper option, with plans beginning at $10.99 monthly. There’s currently no free trial though.

The HBO Max addon can be found in the SlyGuy repository.

Sling TV

Sling TV Kodi March Madness

Sling TV is showing the exact same fixtures as HBO Max — every game except for the ones airing on CBS. Now, you’ll need the Orange and Blue plan to gain access to truTV, TNT, and TBS but that costs $69.99 monthly. Alternatively, you can choose the Orange plan, sacrificing truTV in exchange for the ability to sign up for a day ($4.99), three days ($9.99), or a week ($14.99), rather than the full month.

This addon is included in the SlyGuy repo.

Paramount+

Paramount Plus kodi addon

Any 2026 March Madness matches that are shown on CBS will also be available on Paramount+. You’ll need a premium subscription ($13.99 per month) to watch CBS live, but on the plus side, this will also allow you to watch all of the action in 4K.

The Paramount+ addon can be found in the SlyGuy repository.

YouTube addon
