Good Trouble season 3 will premiere at 10 PM EST (7 PM PST / 3 AM GMT) on February 17. At the moment, it’s unclear how long this season will be, but don’t worry; even if it reverts back to a 13-episode schedule, there’ll still be a new episode each Wednesday night until April at least. Below, we’ll let you know how to stream every episode of Good Trouble online, even if you’re currently outside of the US.
Because of this show’s popularity, it’s likely there’ll be unlicensed streams available. However, we strongly recommend sticking to official sources. Not only does this guarantee that you’re watching in the highest-possible quality, but it also prevents your stream from being taken offline part way through for copyright violation. There are plenty of legitimate ways to watch, many of which offer a free trial, so there’s no need to use unreliable third-party sources.
Good Trouble will only be broadcast on region-locked services. This means that if you’re traveling abroad and hoping to watch on a streaming platform from back home, you’ll have to connect to a VPN.
How to stream Good Trouble from abroad with a VPN
VPNs are much easier to use than you might expect. In fact, once you’ve signed up, you can start using geo-restricted services in a matter of minutes. Below is a simple guide to watching Good Trouble outside of the US with a VPN.
Here’s how to watch Good Trouble (season 3) online from anywhere:
- Start by signing up for a suitable VPN provider. We recommend NordVPN, but Surfshark and ExpressVPN are both fantastic alternatives.
- Next, download the VPN app, making sure to install it on any device you use for streaming. Remember: you can install it on any number of devices, but most services only let you have five or so connected at once.
- Log in and connect to a server in the US. This will provide you with a US IP address so that US-only services will still be accessible from abroad.
- Finally, visit Freeform and try playing a video. In most cases, it should begin right away, without any issues. However, if you’re having problems, clearing your cookies and reloading the page will fix the most common issues.
If you’d like to stream Good Trouble live online, we suggest taking some time to make sure your VPN works properly before the episode begins. This way, you can get help if you do have any technical issues ahead of time and won’t be scrambling to contact customer support while the premiere is airing.
How to watch Good Trouble season 3 for free on US TV
The third season of Good Trouble will primarily be available on Freeform, which offers both a live stream and on-demand replays, as well as every older episode. However, you’ll have to sign in with your cable provider details before you can actually watch anything.
Luckily, Freeform also lets you log in with a variety of popular streaming services including Hulu, YouTube TV, AT&T TV Now, Sling TV, and fuboTV. All of these offer a free trial (usually one week), but overall, Hulu is the least expensive, at just $5.99 USD per month. Additionally, like Freeform, Hulu has the full first and second seasons. In fact, it will even add new episodes to its on-demand library the day after they air, making it a great way to watch on devices such as Smart TVs that might not have a dedicated Freeform app.
All of the streaming services above are geo-restricted, meaning you’ll need a VPN to use them from abroad. Still haven’t chosen one? NordVPN comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee that allows you to try it completely risk-free. If you’re unimpressed, just cancel during this time to claim a full refund.
Where else can I stream Good Trouble online?
Good Trouble isn’t just a US phenomenon; it actually has a decent following in a couple of other countries too. Here’s how to watch Good Trouble online if you’re outside of the US:
British fans can stream the first two seasons of Good Trouble for free on BBC iPlayer. You will have to create an account and confirm that you have a TV License first, though this only takes a minute. Note that while you’re asked to enter a valid British postal code during registration, any will work.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any idea as to when season 3 will be added to the service. That said, the second series arrived about a year after its US debut. As such, there could be a significant wait ahead, though we’ll keep you up to date with further details as they’re revealed.
BBC iPlayer is geo-restricted, so you’ll need a VPN to access it from outside of the UK.
Seasons one and two of Good Trouble are currently available on Stan. This streaming service usually costs $10 AUD per month, but it comes with a 30-day free trial, which should be long enough for you to get caught up. Again, there are no details regarding an Australian release for season 3 as yet.
Stan is usually only available in Australia. However, by connecting to an Australian VPN server, you can access it from anywhere.
What do we know about season 3 of Good Trouble?
Thanks to the trailer for Good Trouble season 3, we have a decent idea of what to expect. Mariana now has to navigate the difficult aftermath of her fling with Evan (which involves bringing it up with Raj) and Malika will go toe to toe with the justice system. We also know that Constance Zimmer (Entourage, Boston Legal) will be joining the cast as Kathleen Gale, a defense attorney who becomes a mentor figure to Callie.
There could well be a little misdirection in the trailer, though. For instance, it shows Callie saying that she and Jamie are officially over, but executive producer Joanna Johnson told TVLine that the reality isn’t necessarily quite so black and white. In other words, we’ll just have to tune in to see what’s really going to happen.
