Which Now TV membership should I get?

Now TV takes a different approach to pricing than most other services. Instead of having a standard subscription that grants access to everything, it asks users to decide whether they’re more interested in watching movies, TV shows, or sports.

If you want to stream TV shows or live broadcasts, you’ll need an Entertainment pass. These cost £9.99 monthly with no contract, or £3.99 per month if you pick the annual subscription. There used to be a separate Kid’s pass for accessing cartoon channels too but this has since been removed.

Only looking to stream movies? In that case, you’ll want a Cinema pass. These are £9.99 per month (£6.99 monthly with the annual plan). Alternatively, you can bundle it with an Entertainment pass for £8.99 per month with a 12-month commitment.

Now TV lets you watch around a dozen Sky Sports channels, so long as you have a Sports membership. These are more expensive, though, at £31.99 per month or £27.99 monthly with a 12-month commitment. It’s also possible to buy a one-day pass for £14.99.

You can also add a Hayu subscription, allowing you to stream your favorite reality shows from within the Now TV app or website. This isn’t any cheaper than signing up for Hayu normally (£5.99 monthly), but could be more convenient depending on your streaming setup.

Finally, Now TV has optional addons called Boost and Ultra Boost, which cost £6 and £9 per month, respectively. Boost lets you watch ad-free at 1080p on two devices, while offering Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. Ultra Boost unlocks 4K content, three simultaneous connections, and Dolby Atmos audio.
